Look to the top-right corner of your screen.<\/li> Click on your Account Holder Name.<\/li> A dropdown menu will appear.<\/li> From the dropdown, select Account Settings to proceed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\nStep 4: Choose the Modification Option<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nIn the Account Settings section:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Look for the Modify Now button and click on it<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\nStep 5: Select Segment Addition from the Dropdown<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nA dropdown menu will appear with various modification options.<\/li> From the list, choose the option labeled Segment Addition to proceed with activating additional trading segments.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\nStep 6: Choose the Segment to Activate<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nGo to the Segment Addition section under Account <\/em>Settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\nYou\u2019ll see two sections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Active Segments \u2013 shows segments already enabled in your account.<\/li> Inactive Segments \u2013 lists the segments available for activation (e.g., DERIVATIVES (F&O), Currency, Commodity).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\nTick the checkbox next to the desired segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Click the Submit button to proceed with your activation request.<\/p>\n\n\n\nStep 7: Income Proof Verification via OTP or Upload<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nAfter selecting your desired segment(s) and clicking Submit, the system will verify your eligibility based on your Samco account holdings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you already have holdings in your Samco account:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nYou do not need to manually upload income proof. The system will automatically fetch the required details. Simply enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number to verify and proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\nIf you do not have any holdings in your Samco Account:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nYou will be prompted to upload income proof. From the dropdown, choose one of the following valid documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bank statement (last 6 months)<\/li> Income Tax Return (ITR) of the last financial year<\/li> Form 16 of the last financial year<\/li> Latest Salary Slip<\/li> Demat Statement from another demat account<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\nAfter uploading the document, click Done to proceed with activation.<\/p>\n\n\n\nStep 8: Track Your Request via the Modification Status Panel<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nOnce you\u2019ve submitted your date of birth update request along with the necessary documents, it will enter the verification process. To stay informed about the progress, simply navigate to the \u2018Modification Status\u2019 tab in your Samco STAR Back Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
