This means you can invest a fixed dollar amount in any stock, even if the full share price is out of your budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example: <\/strong>1 share of a US stock costs $1,000 but you only want to invest $100. You can buy 0.10 shares worth $100. If the stock rises to $1,200, your 0.10 shares are worth $120 and the same percentage return as a full share holder, just on a smaller amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To buy fractional shares on Samco, use the &#8220;Buy in Amount&#8221; order type and enter the dollar amount you wish to invest.
