You don&#8217;t need to apply, approve, or respond. The change simply reflects in your DEMAT account or bank on the due date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples: Dividends, bonus issues, stock splits, mergers and amalgamations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Voluntary Corporate Actions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These require you to make a decision and act within a specified deadline. Participation is your choice \u2014 but not responding in time usually means missing out on the benefit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples: Rights issues, buybacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key thing to keep in mind is that for mandatory actions, simply being on the shareholder register as of the record date is enough and nothing else is required from your end.
