Once you tender your shares in a buyback, they are blocked in your DEMAT account during the offer period you cannot sell them on the exchange while they are tendered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the offer closes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>If your shares are <strong>accepted<\/strong> they are debited from your DEMAT and the payout is credited to your bank account automatically.<\/li><li>If your shares are <strong>partially accepted<\/strong> the accepted shares are debited and paid out.
