No. Converting an intraday (MIS) position directly to MTF is not allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to hold the stocks under MTF, you will need to square off your intraday position first and then place a fresh MTF buy order for the same stocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s how to go about it:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Square off your existing MIS position before market close<\/li>
  2. Ensure you have sufficient margin available in your account for the fresh MTF order<\/li>
  3. Place a new MTF buy order for the stocks you want to hold<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
