Once you pledge your eligible stocks, ETFs, or mutual fund units, the margin generated against them can be used for intraday or positional trades. Your holdings stay in your Demat throughout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How it differs from regular trading<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In regular trading, you need a cash balance to place orders. With StockPlus, the market value of your existing holdings works as your buying power. You can place trades even with a zero cash balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How it differs from other brokers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Most brokers require a 50:50 cash-to-collateral ratio meaning at least half your margin must come from cash, even if your portfolio is large. Samco does not apply this restriction. Your collateral alone can cover the full margin requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
