The Samco app does not currently classify your holdings into long-term and short-term categories within the Portfolio section. All your holdings are displayed together in the Holdings tab regardless of how long you have held them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This classification becomes relevant mainly for tax purposes stocks held for more than 12 months are treated as long-term, while those held for less are treated as short-term.
