Unlike regular Day orders that expire at the end of the trading session, a GTT order stays active in the system indefinitely \u2014 across days, weeks, and months until one of the following happens:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The stock reaches your trigger price and the order is executed<\/li><li>You manually cancel the GTT from the Orders tab<\/li><li>The GTT expires due to a corporate action such as a stock split, bonus issue, or merger that changes the stock&#8217;s price structure<\/li><li>The stock is delisted or suspended from trading<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If the trigger price is never reached, the GTT simply remains in <strong>Active<\/strong> status and continues waiting. You can check all your active GTTs anytime from the <strong>GTT tab<\/strong> in the Orders section.
