This is done using the <strong>OCO (One Cancels Other)<\/strong> option within GTT. OCO is specifically designed for stocks you <strong>already hold in your portfolio<\/strong> and want to exit in a controlled way \u2014 without having to monitor the price every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is how it works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you place a Sell GTT and switch to OCO, you set two triggers for the same holding:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Target Price<\/strong> &#8211; if the stock rises to this level, a sell order is placed automatically to book your profit<\/li><li><strong>Stop-Loss Price<\/strong> &#8211; if the stock falls to this level, a sell order is placed automatically to limit your loss<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Whichever price is hit first, that sell order executes and the other trigger is immediately cancelled. This ensures you are never in a situation where both orders fire at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OCO is only available for <strong>selling existing holdings<\/strong> in the equity segment. It cannot be used for fresh buy orders or for F&amp;O positions.
