A Basket Order lets you buy or sell multiple stocks or contracts in a single go, instead of placing each order one at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is particularly useful for traders who manage a portfolio of positions and want to execute all of them simultaneously for example, entering multiple F&O contracts at once or rebalancing a set of stocks together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to place a Basket Order<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to Orders and Trades in the top menu<\/li>
  2. Select Basket Orders > Normal Basket (Shortcut: Ctrl + B)<\/li>
  3. The Basket Order Window opens<\/li>
  4. Add the stocks or contracts you want to trade select the segment, instrument, symbol, buy\/sell direction, quantity, and price for each<\/li>
  5. Once all the entries are ready, click Place to execute the entire basket at once<\/li>
  6. To save the basket for later use, click Export List before placing<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You can add equities, futures, and options in the same basket.
