{"id":27497,"date":"2026-04-13T08:14:15","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T08:14:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.samco.in\/help-support\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=27497"},"modified":"2026-04-13T08:14:24","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T08:14:24","slug":"how-to-modify-or-cancel-an-order-on-nest-trader","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.samco.in\/help-support\/article\/how-to-modify-or-cancel-an-order-on-nest-trader\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Modify or Cancel an Order on Nest Trader"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>You can modify or cancel any pending order directly from the Order Book in Nest Trader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to open the Order Book<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to View Order\/Trade Reports &gt; Order Book, or press F3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Order Book shows two sections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Open Orders &#8211; orders that are pending or partially filled<\/li><li>Completed Orders &#8211; orders that are fully executed, rejected, or cancelled<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to modify an order<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Open the Order Book (F3)<\/li><li>Select the pending order you want to change<\/li><li>Click &#8220;Modify&#8221;<\/li><li>Update the price, quantity, or order type as needed<\/li><li>Click Submit<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to cancel an order<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Open the Order Book (F3)<\/li><li>Select the pending order<\/li><li>Click &#8220;Cancel&#8221;<\/li><li>Confirm the cancellation<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Only orders with &#8220;Open Pending&#8221; status can be modified or cancelled.
