Your DP ID (Depository Participant Identification Number) is a unique number assigned to your Depository Participant (Samco) when your Demat account is opened.
It forms part of your Demat Account Number (also known as BO ID).
In most cases:
- The DP ID is the first 8 characters of your Demat account number.
- The remaining digits represent your Client ID.
Where can I find my DP ID?
You can easily check your DP ID directly from the Samco Trading App by following these steps:
- Open the Samco Trading App
- Tap on your Name/Profile icon in the top-left corner
- Click on your Full Name again
- Select Demat Info
Your DP ID will be displayed there along with your Demat account details.
