Why don’t MTF stocks appear in the Demat statement?
MTF shares are pledged with Samco as collateral until dues are cleared. Since they are blocked, they do not show as free holdings in the depository records. Once the position is closed and dues are settled, the shares move to your free holdings or are released from pledge.
Tracking interest charges
Log in to the Samco Backoffice, open the Ledger, and select the MTF segment. The daily interest debit is recorded here with the date and the funded amount it was applied on.
