Selling stocks from your Holdings is straightforward on the Samco app. Here is how:
- Tap Portfolio in the bottom navigation bar
- Go to the Holdings tab
- Tap on the stock you want to sell
- Tap the Sell button
- On the order placement screen, your product type will automatically be set to Delivery since these are holdings from your Demat account
- Enter the quantity you want to sell
- Select your order type – Mkt, Limit, SL-M, or SL
- Enter the price if placing a Limit order
- Tap Sell to submit
Alternatively, you can also search for the stock from the Home screen or find it on your Watchlist, open the stock detail page, and tap Sell from there. Make sure you select Delivery as the product type so the shares are debited from your Demat account correctly.
