MTF charges 0.05% per day on the amount funded by Samco only on the borrowed portion, not on your margin.
Example
- Total purchase value: ₹50,000
- Your margin: ₹10,000
- Samco funds: ₹40,000
- Daily interest: 0.05% of ₹40,000 = ₹20 per day
This charge applies every day you hold the position, including weekends and market holidays. No interest is charged if the position is opened and closed on the same day.
Where to check your interest charges
Log in to the Samco Backoffice → Ledger → MTF segment. Each daily interest debit is recorded here with the date and the funded amount it was applied on.
