What documents are required to submit for dematerialisation with Samco?

To convert your physical share certificates into demat form with Samco, you need to submit the following documents:

Required Documents:

1. Filled & Signed Dematerialisation Request Form (DRF)

  • Ensure all details such as DP ID, Client ID (BO ID), ISIN, company name, and quantity of shares are correctly mentioned.
  • The form must be signed as per your demat account records.
  • In case of joint holdings, signatures of all holders are required.

2. Original Physical Share Certificates

  • Submit the original certificates corresponding to the shares mentioned in the DRF.
  • Certificates must be valid and in good condition.

Additional Documents (If Applicable):

  • Name mismatch proof (if the name on the certificate differs from the demat account)
  • Supporting documents such as affidavit, gazette notification, or PAN copy (if required by the RTA)

Important Points:

  • The name on the share certificate must match the demat account name.
  • Incomplete forms or missing certificates may lead to rejection.
  • Processing typically takes 15–30 days, subject to RTA verification.
