To convert your physical share certificates into demat form with Samco, you need to submit the following documents:
Required Documents:
1. Filled & Signed Dematerialisation Request Form (DRF)
- Ensure all details such as DP ID, Client ID (BO ID), ISIN, company name, and quantity of shares are correctly mentioned.
- The form must be signed as per your demat account records.
- In case of joint holdings, signatures of all holders are required.
2. Original Physical Share Certificates
- Submit the original certificates corresponding to the shares mentioned in the DRF.
- Certificates must be valid and in good condition.
Additional Documents (If Applicable):
- Name mismatch proof (if the name on the certificate differs from the demat account)
- Supporting documents such as affidavit, gazette notification, or PAN copy (if required by the RTA)
Important Points:
- The name on the share certificate must match the demat account name.
- Incomplete forms or missing certificates may lead to rejection.
- Processing typically takes 15–30 days, subject to RTA verification.
