GTT stands for Good Till Triggered. It is a feature on the Samco app that allows you to set a trigger price for a stock, and when the stock reaches that price, your order is automatically placed at the exchange without you having to watch the market or be available at that moment.
Think of it as a standing instruction you give the app. You decide the price at which you want to buy or sell a stock, set a GTT, and the app takes care of the rest. Once the stock hits your trigger price, the order fires automatically.
This is particularly useful for investors who have a target buy or sell price in mind but do not want to track the market every day waiting for it to arrive. GTT orders remain active until they are triggered, cancelled by you, or expired whichever comes first.
