HDFC Asset Management Company Limited was incorporated on 10th December, 1999 under Companies Act, 1956 in the state of Maharashtra. It functions as a joint undertaking in between Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (“HDFC”) and Standard Life Investments Limited (“SLI”). It currently offers a large stack of savings and investment products across diversified asset classes, which provides income and wealth creation opportunities to its customers.

Date of Establishment: HDFC Asset Management Company Limited was incorporated on 10th of December 1999 under Companies Act 1956, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation granted by Registrar of Companies in Maharashtra. It obtained a certificate for commencement of its business on the 9th of March 2000.

Promoter of HDFC Asset Management Limited: Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) and Standard Life Investments Limited (SLI) are the promoters of HDFC Asset Management Limited.

Product and services offering: HDFC Asset Management Limited offers a vast range of savings and investment products across diversified asset classes. As of 31st December 2017 they have offered 127 schemes that were classified into 28 equity-oriented schemes, 91 debt schemes (including 65 FMP’s), 3 liquid schemes and 5 other schemes (including exchange-traded schemes and funds of fund schemes). They also provide portfolio management and segregated account services which includes discretionary, non-discretionary and advisory services. Their segments of product include:
