Roopshri Resorts Limited is a hospitality company involved in operating “Hotel Alexander” at Matheran. The Hotel is regarding as one of the oldest hotels concealed hillside properties in Matheran and is involved in the operation for more than 3 decades. As on 15th February 2019 is has 11 staff on a payroll basis.

Date of Incorporation: The Company was incorporated as “Hema Land Developers Private Limited” on 09th January 1990. Subsequently, it was reincorporated to a public limited company “Roopshri Resorts Limited” on 06th November 2018.

Promoters of the Company: Mrs Roopa Shah is the promoter of Roopshri Resorts Limited.

Services Offering: The company operates Hotel Alexander that consists of 13 private cottage rooms and 12 executive rooms. The Hotel is around 3 hours by road from Mumbai and 2 hours from Pune. It has almost 3.75 acres of land but less than half acres is being utilised for hotel facilities.

Customer Segments: The Customers segments include tourist, traveller, sightseer, tripper among others.
