NSDL Share Price Extends Losses for Second Day After Q1 Results

Mumbai, August 14:

The NSDL share price fell for the second consecutive session on Wednesday, slipping nearly 3% in intraday trade, after the company announced its Q1 FY26 results earlier this week.

The newly listed stock has now slipped 18% from its record high within just three trading sessions, reversing a part of the strong post-listing rally.

Market Performance

  • Intraday Low: ₹1,166 per share
  • Previous Close: ₹1,206 per share
  • Loss in Last Two Sessions: Over 9%
  • Fall from Record High: Nearly 18% in three days

The stock opened flat on August 14 but soon slipped into the red, hitting the day’s low at ₹1,166 before stabilizing.

Company Q1 Financial Highlights

For the April–June 2025 quarter (Q1 FY26):

  • Net Profit: ₹89.63 crore — up 15% YoY from ₹77.82 crore
  • Total Expenses: ₹228 crore — down 14% YoY
  • Revenue from Operations: ₹312 crore — down 7.5% YoY (₹337 crore in Q1 FY25)
  • Sequential Revenue Drop: 14% from ₹364 crore in Q4 FY25

While profits improved due to lower expenses, the revenue decline weighed on market sentiment.

Summary

The NSDL share price is witnessing a sharp pullback after a steep rally post-listing. While Q1 FY26 results showed healthy profit growth and reduced expenses, the drop in revenue appears to have triggered profit booking. The stock remains well above its IPO price but has lost significant ground from recent highs.
