Before going on to the Payment Gateway charges, Lets first understand what is a payment gateway?

A Payment Gateway is a merchant service provided by a digital application service provider that authorizes payments made via credit card, Net banking, Debit cards for online retailers, bricks and clicks, or traditional shop.

In Simple words, Its is a middleware or a third party application used to authorize and verify payments made to an online retailer using Credit Cards, Debit Cards or Net Banking.

Check this for information on how to transfer funds to your trading account.

What are Payment Gateway charges?
When you use an electronic medium to transfer funds using Credit Cards, Debits Cards or Net banking / UPI etc your Retailer or Seller uses a third party application to securely verify and authorize your payments made to his bank account. These services are available in the market from various vendors. These vendors provide the services at a nominal fee per transaction. The fees may be % of the transaction or a fixed fee depending on your service provider. This fee is Payment Gateway charge.

When you pay in funds to your SAMCO Trading account there is a nominal fee of Rs.6 per Transaction plus applicable taxes. This is a fixed fee for every payment of funds you make in your trading account irrespective of the quantum of funds transferred. SAMCO’s Payment gateway charges are one of the cheapest in the industry.

The payment gateway charges are debited to your ledger account at the end of the day along with the billing processes.
