No. Funds can only be deposited from a bank account that is registered and linked to your Samco trading account.
Third-party transfers and including transfers from family members, friends, or any other individual’s account are not permitted as per regulatory guidelines.
What happens if you transfer from an unregistered account? The funds will be rejected and returned to the source account. This may also cause a delay in your trading activity.
To avoid this, always ensure you are transferring from your own verified and registered bank account. If you need to add or update a bank account, you can do so from the Account settings section in Samco Star Back Office.
