The process is straightforward and fully online.

If you already have a Samco account:

1. Log in to Samco Star – visit star.samco.in and log in with your credentials
2. Go to the Trade API section – navigate to the subscription or API settings within the back office
3. Activate the Trade API – follow the on-screen steps to activate access
4. Integrate your preferred library – choose from Python, Java, JavaScript, or Node.js SDKs to connect your code to the API

If you are new to Samco:

1. Open a free Demat and trading account at samco.in/open-free-demat-account the process is fully online and typically completed within 24 working hours
2. Once your account is active, log in to Samco Star and follow the steps above to activate the Trade API
