Samco provides StockPlus margin against 1,200+ approved stocks and ETFs listed on NSE and BSE. Eligible mutual fund units can also be pledged to generate margin.
The approved list is reviewed periodically based on regulatory guidelines, liquidity, and risk factors. Not every stock qualifies; only securities on Samco’s approved pledge list can be used as collateral.
To check whether a specific stock is eligible and how much margin it generates, use the StockPlus Leverage Calculator at samco.in/stockplus. When you go to pledge, the eligible holdings along with their haircut percentages and margin benefit are also shown directly on the pledge screen in Samco Star Backoffice under Portfolio → Pledge / Unpledge.
