There is no separate minimum amount set by Samco to start buying stocks. You can buy even a single share of any stock, which means the minimum amount you need is simply the price of one share of the stock you want to buy, plus any applicable brokerage and charges.
For example, if a stock is trading at ₹50, you can buy one share for ₹50 plus charges. If a stock is trading at ₹5,000, the minimum you need is ₹5,000 plus charges for one share.
The Funds Required figure on the order placement screen will always show you exactly how much you need before you confirm the order, so you always know upfront whether your available balance is sufficient.
