Monthly settlement is the process where Samco transfers your unused trading account funds back to your registered bank account once a month. This happens automatically on the first Friday of every month , you do not need to raise a request.
The funds transferred are those not blocked as margins for open positions. If the first Friday of the month falls on a trading holiday, the settlement is processed on the previous trading day.
Monthly settlement applies to clients who have been inactive on their account for 30 or more calendar days. Active traders are settled quarterly instead.
