Why hasn’t my monthly/quarterly settlement been credited yet?

If your settlement has not arrived, check the following before raising a concern:

  • Timing – Funds can take up to 24 hours to reflect after the settlement date. Wait out the full window first.
  • Bank details – Confirm your registered bank account in the Samco Back Office is active and correctly updated.
  • Open positions – If you had active trades on the settlement date, the funds blocked as margins would have been retained. Only your free balance gets transferred.
  • New accounts – If your account was opened after the previous settlement date, your funds will be included in the next cycle, not the current one.

If none of the above apply and it has been more than 24 hours, contact Samco support with your client ID.
