Armee Infotech Ltd IPO Date, Price, GMP, Review, Details

Overview

Armee Infotech Ltd. is an Ahmedabad, Gujarat-based IT infrastructure and IT managed services company that has diversified into technology retail and renewable energy. The Company primarily serves Government entities, public sector undertakings (PSUs) and private-sector clients, including private customers where the ultimate end users are Government/PSU entities. Government and PSU-linked projects account for a significant share of its business, making public-sector project awards, tender activity and execution capabilities important operating drivers.

The IT Infrastructure segment is the Company’s core business and involves the supply, installation, integration and maintenance of IT hardware and software. Its product portfolio includes computers, servers, interactive panels and peripherals. Armee Infotech also undertakes project-specific activities such as ICT laboratory and smart-classroom deployment, digital infrastructure implementation and supply and installation of IT hardware for Government entities. The Company typically executes these projects under contracts with defined execution, maintenance and warranty periods. IT Infrastructure contributed ₹1,198.49 crore in FY26, accounting for 85.81% of operating revenue, compared with ₹1,224.32 crore in FY25 and ₹935.01 crore in FY24.

The IT managed services segment provides technical manpower, skill-development training and annual maintenance services for IT infrastructure. Its employees provide on-site and off-site operational support under service-level agreements, with payments made at predefined intervals or according to contractual terms. This business complements the infrastructure segment by extending customer engagement beyond the initial installation and creating a service component alongside project-based revenues. The segment generated ₹73.44 crore in FY26, representing 5.26% of operating revenue.

Armee Infotech has expanded into renewable energy, covering solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), solar projects under Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The EPC business provides end-to-end execution, including project assessment, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover of solar power projects. Under PPAs, the Company develops, owns, operates and maintains solar assets and supplies electricity at predetermined tariffs for specified periods. Under BESS, it develops battery storage projects and supplies stored energy under long-term contracts while undertaking operation and maintenance activities.

Renewable energy is a relatively new business for the Company and represents a diversification opportunity beyond its established IT operations. As of June 30, 2026, Armee Infotech had 10 ongoing renewable EPC projects, one PPA project and two BESS projects. These activities are undertaken through the Company and subsidiaries including ArMee BESS Private Limited, ArMee MH Renewable Energy Private Limited, ArMee UP Renewable Energy Private Limited and ArMee MP Renewable Energy Private Limited. The Company has limited historical experience in renewable energy, making project execution and the development of sector-specific capabilities important for this segment.

The Company has also entered the retail technology market through Experience Zones in Ahmedabad, selling IT products, consumer electronics, gaming products and merchandise. It operated two Experience Zones as of June 30, 2026. Under its arrangement with Acer, the Company operates single-brand exclusive Experience Zones, adding a retail channel to its institutional and project-based business.

As of June 30, 2026, Armee Infotech had 99 ongoing projects with an order book of ₹2,663.44 crore, comprising 65 IT Infrastructure, 21 IT managed services, 10 renewable EPC, 1 PPA, and 2 BESS projects. The order book provides visibility across its established and newer businesses, although the project base remains geographically concentrated, with 74 projects located in Gujarat. The Company had 263 employees, including 219 skilled and semi-skilled technical personnel, and 1,648 contractual employees engaged through third-party service providers.

Key Strengths

  • 1. Proven track record in executing Government / PSU projects

Armee Infotech has established experience in executing IT infrastructure and managed services projects for Government departments and PSUs, with the number of completed projects increasing to 116 in FY26, up from 97 in FY25 and 62 in FY24. The Company has participated in competitive bidding for multi-location projects across various state Governments and PSUs and has contributed to initiatives such as E-Gram Vishwagram, Gyankunj, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana. Government contracts are typically time-bound and can provide greater payment visibility, while larger projects may support longer-term customer relationships. As of June 30, 2026, 74 of its 99 ongoing projects were located in Gujarat, with additional projects across Maharashtra and other states. This execution track record demonstrates Armee Infotech's project management capabilities and an established presence in the Government/PSU procurement ecosystem.

  • 2. Ability to service clients and projects across diverse sectors

Armee Infotech operates across a diverse range of sectors, reducing its dependence on any single end-use industry. Its IT Infrastructure and IT managed services have been deployed across education, healthcare, public distribution, rural and urban development, and science & technology, serving Government departments, PSUs and private-sector clients, including projects where the end users are Government/PSUs. The Company also operates across multiple business areas, having expanded into Renewable Energy EPC, PPA and BESS projects, in addition to its Experience Zones. Its ongoing portfolio spans projects implemented under different Government schemes and across various State Government departments. This sector-agnostic approach enables Armee Infotech to adapt its offerings to differing project requirements and provides flexibility to pursue opportunities across industries. Diversification across sectors and business verticals can also reduce exposure to downturns in any individual industry, while its experience across varied project environments supports its ability to manage diverse operational and customer requirements.

  • 3. Experienced Board of Directors and management with extensive domain knowledge

Armee Infotech is supported by a management team with substantial experience across its core business operations. Promoters Kiritkumar Chimanbhai Patel and Ami Ridhish Patel have been associated with the Company since its inception and bring over two decades of experience, while Promoter Ridhish Kiritbhai Patel has served as Executive Director of the Company since May 2012 and brings more than a decade of experience. The senior management team also includes personnel with experience in business development and industry bodies, including capabilities relevant to the Company’s expansion into renewable energy. The management oversees project implementation across the Company and its subsidiaries, while being supported by qualified personnel with relevant domain expertise. This combination of promoter continuity, operational experience and functional expertise supports the Company’s ability to manage project execution, maintain customer relationships and adapt to changing client requirements. It also provides a solid management foundation as Armee Infotech expands into new business areas, such as renewable energy.

Key Risks

  • 1. High geographic concentration in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu

Armee Infotech has a significant concentration of its operations across Gujarat, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, exposing its business performance to the economic, policy and project-spending conditions in these states. These three states contributed 86.48% of revenue from operations in FY26, compared with 73.75% in FY25 and 86.52% in FY24. The concentration is particularly relevant as a substantial portion of the Company’s projects are linked to Government/PSU entities, making changes in state-level Government spending, procurement policies or project pipelines an important risk factor. Any natural calamity, economic slowdown or operational disruption in these key markets could adversely affect project execution, revenue, cash flows and financial performance. While the Company is expanding its presence across other states, diversification remains limited relative to its current revenue concentration.

  • 2. High dependence on Government / PSU orders

Armee Infotech remains highly dependent on Government and PSU-linked projects, which accounted for 83.84% of revenue from operations in FY26, down from 90.91% in FY25 and 90.96% in FY24. A substantial portion of its business is secured through competitive bidding and Government e-procurement platforms, exposing the Company to changes in tender qualification criteria, project timelines, Government spending and budgetary allocations. Delays in tendering or changes that prevent the Company from qualifying could reduce its pipeline and order inflows. Its bid success rate also declined from 30.91% in FY24 to 19.48% in FY26, indicating the competitive nature of the procurement process. Further, failure to meet contractual requirements may result in penalties, forfeiture of bank guarantees, delayed receivables or potential debarment/blacklisting, which could restrict future bidding opportunities. Any scaling back of Government schemes or spending could therefore materially affect revenue growth, cash flows and business prospects.

  • 3. Renewable energy procurement and execution expose the Company to cost overruns and warranty risks

Armee Infotech’s expansion into renewable energy EPC exposes it to procurement, construction and equipment-related risks. The Company is responsible for procuring major equipment and supplies for its renewable energy projects, with procurement generally undertaken on a project-specific basis rather than through standing or long-term supplier agreements. Delays in equipment delivery, shortages, increases in material, labour or land costs, adverse weather conditions and unforeseen engineering or site issues could result in project delays and cost overruns. While fixed-price EPC arrangements and advance procurement may mitigate certain price-escalation risks, the Company remains responsible for equipment and construction defects. It generally obtains supplier warranties and Erection All Risk (EAR) insurance, but recovery under these arrangements is not assured. Given that renewable energy projects are capital-intensive and time-sensitive, significant procurement or execution issues could require additional capital, delay project commissioning and adversely affect profitability, cash flows and returns from the segment.

Conclusion

ArMee Infotech Ltd. has established a presence in IT infrastructure and managed services, with Government and PSU clients forming a core part of its customer base. Its ability to execute multi-location projects across sectors such as education, healthcare and public distribution provides diversification within its IT business. The Company is also expanding into renewable energy through EPC, PPA, and BESS projects, creating an additional avenue for growth, although these activities are relatively new and entail greater execution and project management complexities. Its sizeable ongoing project portfolio provides visibility, while the expansion into new states could gradually reduce geographic concentration. Key monitorables remain dependence on Government/PSU tendering, competitive bidding, concentration in select states, execution of renewable energy projects and the Company’s ability to scale its newer business verticals without affecting its established IT operations.
