Any Samco account holder with eligible holdings in their Demat can use StockPlus. There is no separate sign-up fee or application process.
What you need:
- An active Samco trading and Demat account
- Eligible holdings – equity shares, ETFs, or approved mutual fund units
- Holdings must be free and unencumbered not already pledged under MTF or any other facility
Both individual accounts and non-individual accounts HUFs and corporate accounts can pledge under StockPlus.
What cannot be pledge:
- Shares already pledged under MTF (CashPlus)
- Any holding that is locked or encumbered under another obligation
