Royal Enfield, the iconic motorcycle brand under Eicher Motors, achieved its highest-ever quarterly sales during Q2 FY26. The brand sold 3,27,067 motorcycles, a 45% increase compared to the same quarter last year.
The festive season played a key role in this growth, with record deliveries of 2.49 lakh units, reflecting strong consumer demand. The recent GST reform by the Government of India, especially for motorcycles under 350cc, has improved affordability and boosted sales further.
The CEO of Eicher Motors emphasized the company’s focus on long-term growth, stating that steady volume increases and sustainable transport solutions are central to the company’s strategy.
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) Performance
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) also contributed significantly to the company’s growth story:
- Revenue: ₹6,106 crore, up 10.3% YoY
- EBITDA: ₹479 crore, up 8% YoY
- Profit After Tax: ₹249 crore, up from ₹208 crore in Q2 FY25
- Vehicle Sales: 21,901 units, compared to 20,774 units last year
VECV achieved its best-ever second-quarter performance in truck and bus deliveries. Light and Medium Duty Trucks maintained market leadership, with 10,096 units sold. Heavy-Duty trucks also recorded their highest second-quarter deliveries with a market share of 10.5%. Spare parts sales grew 11.8% QoQ, reflecting expanded dealer networks and focus on customer service.
