ICICI Bank has allotted ₹3,945 crore worth of unsecured, subordinated Tier 2 Basel III bonds via private placement. The issue comprises 3,945 debentures of ₹1 crore each, carrying a 7.40% annual coupon and a tenor of 15 years with a call option after 10 years. The bonds received AAA ratings from both CARE and ICRA, indicating a strong credit profile and reinforcing the bank's long-term capital adequacy.
HDFC Bank Receives RBI Penalty and Announces HR Leadership Change
HDFC Bank reported that the RBI imposed a ₹91-lakh penalty for non-compliance with certain regulatory guidelines on interest rates, outsourcing practices, and KYC procedures.
