Yes, you can place orders during the pre-market session on the Samco app.
The pre-market session on NSE runs from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM on trading days. It is divided into three phases:
- 9:00 AM – 9:08 AM: Order entry, modification, and cancellation are open
- 9:08 AM – 9:12 AM: Order matching takes place. No new orders or modifications are accepted
- 9:12 AM – 9:15 AM: Transition period before regular market opens
All valid pre-market orders are matched at a single equilibrium price determined by the exchange. Only Limit and Market order types are supported during the pre-market session. Orders that are not matched during this window are moved to the regular session at 9:15 AM.
