Why did my deposit fail?

A failed deposit is usually caused by one of the following reasons:

  • Transfer from an unregistered bank account : Funds must be transferred only from a bank account registered and linked to your Samco account.
  • UPI or Payment Gateway timeout : The session may have timed out during the payment process.
  • Bank-side technical issue : Temporary issues at your bank’s end can occasionally cause transactions to fail.
  • Daily transaction limit exceeded : Your bank’s daily limit on UPI or IMPS transfers may have been reached.

What happens to your money if the deposit fails?

If your bank account was debited but the amount did not reflect in your Samco account, the funds will be reversed to your bank account. For payment gateway or UPI timeouts, this takes 24 to 48 working hours. For other payment gateway or UPI failures, the reversal can take 4 to 5 working days.

If the amount is not credited back within this window, raise a ticket with Samco support and share your transaction reference number (UTR/UPI Ref ID).
