Personal Index is a feature on the Samco App that creates your own personalized portfolio index similar to how Nifty 50 tracks the market, your Personal Index tracks your portfolio’s performance in real time.
It is named after you. So if your name is Rahul, your index will show as “Rahul Index” on the app. This makes it easy to see at a glance how your investments are performing compared to the broader market.
What Makes it Unique
Most investors only look at the absolute value of their portfolio whether it went up or down in rupees. Personal Index goes one step further by showing you how your portfolio is performing relative to the Nifty 50 benchmark. This tells you whether your investment decisions are actually adding value or whether you would have done better simply investing in an index fund.
Where You Can See It
Your Personal Index value and its comparison against Nifty 50 is visible directly on the Home screen of the Samco App. For a more detailed view with charts and time-period filters, tap the arrow icon on the Home screen or go to Portfolio > Analytics.
