What brokerage is charged for US stock trading?
Samco charges a brokerage of 0.25% of the trade value or $0.25 — whichever is higher on all US stock trades.
What this means for you:
- If you buy $500 worth of a US stock, 0.25% comes to $1.25 – so $1.25 is charged as brokerage.
- If you buy $50 worth of a US stock, 0.25% comes to $0.125 – since this is lower than $0.25, a flat $0.25 is charged instead.
