Why do I need to log in daily if India MARS is automated?
India MARS places trades automatically, but the daily login is a SEBI requirement, not a Samco preference.
Under SEBI’s framework for retail algorithmic trading, the algo needs a valid daily login from you before it can place trades in your account for that day. Without it, a trade the algo generates could be missed, and your portfolio could drift away from the model portfolio.
To make this easier, the one-time account setup sends you reminders and approves trades for you if you forget.
