Your overall portfolio return is visible right at the top of the Holdings tab. The summary card shows four figures:
- Total Value – the current market value of all your holdings combined, updated in real time
- Invested Value – the total amount you have invested across all your holdings
- Total P&L – the difference between your Total Value and Invested Value, which represents your overall return since you started investing
- Day P&L – how much your portfolio has moved today compared to yesterday’s closing prices
The Total P&L is your most important number here it tells you at a glance whether your overall portfolio is in profit or loss and by how much. For a more detailed view of how your wealth has grown over time, you can visit the Net Worth tab, which tracks your financial progress since you started investing on Samco
