The Samco app does not currently classify your holdings into long-term and short-term categories within the Portfolio section. All your holdings are displayed together in the Holdings tab regardless of how long you have held them.
This classification becomes relevant mainly for tax purposes stocks held for more than 12 months are treated as long-term, while those held for less are treated as short-term. For a holding-period-wise breakdown of your portfolio, you can refer to the detailed reports on the star.samco.in, which provide the information needed for accurate tax computation.
