Why was I charged a bounce fee when my SIP didn’t go through?
A bounce charge applies when your SIP installment fails due to insufficient balance in your bank account on the debit date. The exact fee varies depending on your bank’s own charges for failed auto-debit attempts.
To avoid this, make sure your account has sufficient funds a couple of days before your SIP date, since the debit attempt happens automatically on schedule.
