What Happens If There Is No Nominee on the US Stocks Account?
If there is no nominee registered on the account, you will need to provide additional legal documentation to claim the assets. You will need to submit one of the following:
- Probate of Will
- Succession Certificate issued by a competent court
- Letter of Administration
In addition to the above, Samco may also request indemnity bonds or no-objection certificates from other legal heirs. All documents must be authenticated by a competent court or authority.
