Why was my share transfer request rejected?

Your share transfer request may be rejected if there is an outstanding debit balance in your demat account. This can include:

  • Pending Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC)
  • Outstanding Depository Participant (DP) charges
  • Any other unpaid account-related dues

As per the applicable process, share transfers cannot be processed until all outstanding dues are cleared.

What should I do?

  1. Clear the outstanding balance in your account.
  2. Once the payment is updated, submit a fresh share transfer request.
  3. Your request will then be processed as per the standard turnaround time.
