This message means your Samco trading account does not have sufficient funds available to place the order you attempted.
Why does this happen?
There are a few reasons your available balance may be lower than expected:
1. Your account balance is genuinely insufficient The total cost of your order including the order value (quantity × price), brokerage, and other applicable charges exceeds the funds currently available in your trading account. The Samco app checks your balance before placing any order and rejects it if the funds fall short.
2. Funds are blocked against a pending order If you have already placed an order that is still open or pending, the margin required for that order is blocked and will not show as available balance. This can make it appear as though you don’t have enough funds, even if your total balance is adequate.
What you should do
First, go to the Orders section on the Samco app and check if you have any open or pending orders. If you find one that you no longer need, cancelling it will release the blocked margin and make those funds available again.
If there are no pending orders and your balance is still insufficient, you can either add funds via UPI, net banking, or NEFT, or reduce the order quantity so the total value fits within your available balance.
