Yes, charges are applicable when transferring shares from your Samco demat account. The charges depend on the type of transfer:
Off-Market Transfer (to another demat account)
- Samco to Samco:
₹15 + 18% GST per ISIN - Samco to Outside Broker (Other DP):
₹25 or 0.02% of the transaction value (whichever is higher) + applicable taxes
Charges are applied per ISIN for Samco-to-Samco transfers and as per transaction value criteria for outside transfers.
Transfer via CDSL Easiest (Online Mode)
Transfers initiated through CDSL Easiest are treated as off-market transfers.
Therefore, the above off-market charges will be applicable.
Inter-Depository Transfer (CDSL ↔ NSDL)
Applicable charges will be levied as per the respective transfer type and depository guidelines.
